About the Speaker:

For the past 27 years, the Black Hills have been home for Jeff Wangen and his family. It is where he and his wife, Joyce, built their family. After being foster parents for 11 years, they adopted their three boys: Kaden, Nate, and Xavier. He has enjoyed coaching his sons in soccer, wrestling, and football.

Jeff graduated from Watertown High School in Watertown, SD, and then entered the U.S. Air Force, where he served for 10 years. During his time in the Air Force, he was stationed in various locations, including service in the Persian Gulf War, Desert Storm.

His professional sales career began in 1993 as a Financial Advisor for Waddell & Reed, Financial Advisors. In 1997, he and his family relocated to the Black Hills when he became the Managing Principal for Waddell & Reed. After leaving Waddell & Reed, he purchased an insurance agency, where he continues to enjoy all aspects of his career.

With three boys, life is always busy, but he and his family still find time to enjoy their sons’ activities, the outdoors, hunting, and traveling.
