Bluebirds are heading south for their fall migration, but be ready to welcome them back next spring with a nesting box! Join Black Hills Parks & Forests Association on Saturday, October 24 for a bluebird box-building workshop at the Wind Cave National Park Visitor Center.
This workshop will allow participants to learn about the mountain bluebird, the benefits of providing a nesting box, and an opportunity for participants to construct their own box. Two time slots are available, 9 am and 11am. Each time slot is limited to10 boxes (1 box per family), pre-registration is required. To adhere to social distancing guidelines all activities will take place outside, please come prepared for the weather. Participants are asked to bring a hammer; all other supplies will be provided.
